Before the cleaner fish come the symbiotic relationship is parsitism. When
the cleaner fish come it is mutualism.
I think this is a symbiotic relationship
because the the cleaner fish is benefiting because it is eating the parasites out of the tiger grouper's mouth. And the tiger grouper is benefiting because it's mouth is clean!!! Examples of symbiotic relationships are - Parasitism-Lice on a human's head. Commensalism- A bird building it's nest in a tree. Mutualism-the cleaner bird in an alligator's mouth cleaning out all the food and parasites.

Abby,

Thanks for your thoughtful answer! Aren't symbiotic relationships fascinating? I'm sad this unit is ending because we have been able to learn about so many interesting things.

Thanks for leaving a comment! See you tomorrow!

I think my favorite thing about the Ecosytems Unit was all the experiments and sybiotic relationships because whenever I see something cool I can think about what symbiotic relationship it is and I also think about you (Mrs. Dunnavant) and how wonderful you are!

Simbiotic relationships is a video that
will help you know that one organism is
benefiting and one is neither helped nor
harmed.Which it's called commensalism.
