We have been discussing some very interesting topics this week in fifth grade. Use these questions to talk about what you've learned at home with your family and friends.

What is photosynthesis and how does it work?
How do plants breathe?
Why are plants green?

What are the four types of sentences? Can you give an example of each?

Can you name 2 renewable, nonrenewable, and flow resources?

We'd like to thank all the parents for your attendance at our Parent Meeting. It was a huge success!

We had a great first day! Please check with your child to make sure that they have all the supplies they need. You can view the supply list if you click on the link to our school's website on the right.

A few reminders:
-Bring clean, empty 2 liter bottles for science
-All lunch money should be sent in a sealed envelope with the child's name and lunch number on the front
